NCS North East

National Citizen Service (NCS) operates across the North East to support the continued success and expansion of NCS. They put young people at the heart of the programme and empower them to improve their communities.

The VIBE Youth Club

The VIBE Youth Club is for young people aged 7 to 25 years with physical and learning disabilities. VIBE is open on Tuesday's and Friday's from 5.30pm to 8.45pm.

What happen's at the VIBE Youth Club?

Young people can get involved in a range of activities including:

Sunday Senior Youth Club

Five Lamps’ Youth Services have been working closely with members of Thornaby’s Muslim community to deliver a new youth club for young Muslims.

The Sunday Senior Youth Club is open for Muslim boys aged 9 to 16 years and is open on Sunday's from 2pm to 4pm (winter) and 3pm to 5pm (summer). The youth club is open after prayer time at Thornaby Mosque and is flexible with the hours to accommodate for daylight saving, when prayer time also alters.

Senior Youth Club

The Senior Youth Club is for young people aged 11 to 18 years and is open on Monday's and Thursday's from 5.30pm to 8.45pm.

Senior sessions are for young people aged 11-18 years where they take part in a wide range of activities and workshops aimed at teaching the young people new skills whilst having a great time. They can make use of our climbing wall at no extra cost with our qualified climbing instructor, which is great for developing their strength and stamina, increasing their co-ordination and in turn building confidence and self-esteem.
