Digital Youth Enterprise

Digital Youth Enterprise is a brand new 'not for profit' social enterprise providing training to young people aged between 16-24 years of age from all backgrounds so they can learn and use their digital skills to start and succeed in business;

Our mission is 'To Support and Inspire Young People Born into The Digital Generation To Learn and Succeed Through Enterprise'

The roles that we can offer are; Bloggers, Writers, Sales Staff - help get the message of what we do out to the general public, leaflet distributors 

Army Cadets

The Army Cadet Force is one of four cadet organisations sponsored and supported by the Ministry of Defence, the others being the Combined Cadet Force, the Sea Cadet Corps, and the Air Training Corps. For action and adventure, fun and friendship, the Army Cadet Force is hard to beat. With 41,000 cadets (aged 12-18) and 9,500 adults in over 1,600 locations in every corner of the United Kingdom, the ACF is one of the country’s largest voluntary youth organisations.

 

Scotswood Natural Community Garden

Scotswood Natural Community Garden

The garden works with nature to create a great place for people and wildlife to enjoy. The garden is about the community, whether in Scotswood and Benwell or the wider area, and they welcome people of all ages and backgrounds to get involved in our work. This can be as a visitor to the garden, as a member of our volunteer team, or as a participant in one of our events. Everyone is welcome to visit and enjoy the fruits of our labours.

Hexham Youth Initiative

Hexham Youth Initiative aim is to provide activities, opportunities and services for young people in the Hexham area. They do this by working in partnership with many organisations, including Hexham Town Council.

They also offer health adivce and support through the c-card scheme, and help young people into training and employment, and prepare for adult life. Most importantly Hexham Youth Initiative want to encourage young people to develop their own projects.

Edberts House

Edberts House is a growing, successful community project based on High Lanes estate in Heworth & Pelaw Ward, Gateshead.  We work with all ages in our community, enabling local people to access activities, events and training to increase skills, tackle social isolation and create a positive, vibrant community.

Ouseburn Farm

OuseburnFarm is a community based education and training centre that serves local community, school and practical training service for adults with disabilities and learning disabilities. The farm engages with a wide variety of people and is a hub visitors centre representing the OuseburnValley. The farm has several areas that are used as training and education including a farm cafe, livestock, allotment producing food for the community, farm shop and a creative facility offering music and drama, arts and crafts, creative carpentry and photography. The farm has 8 members of staff.

FAR Community Centre

Fenham Association of Residents (FAR) is a community development project in the heart of Fenham in the West End of Newcastle upon Tyne.

FAR has been serving residents of Fenham since 1988 and we operate from a purpose-built accessible community centre.
